A New Conclave Is Born

The Grand Sovereign, M. Ill. Kt. Graham Leslie Flight, G.C.C., assisted by the Grand Eusebius, R. Ill. and Ven. Kt. The Rev. Timothy John Nicholas L’Estrange, G.C.C., with a full team of officers of Grand Imperial Conclave, as well as the Grand Sepulchre Guards, joined the Petitioners in Mark Masons’ Hall on Saturday 7th March 2026 to conduct the Consecration of Beneficentia Conclave No. 536, the newest Conclave of the Metropolitan Division.
In his thoughtful oration, the Grand High Prelate highlighted that a consecration of a new conclave represented a birth. A birth that was now about to start its journey.
Following the Consecration, the R. Ill, Intendent General, Stuart Graves, enthroned the Founding MP.S., Ill. Kt. Robert Anderson, GStB (L) as the first Sovereign of the Conclave. The Deputy Intendant General, Ill. Kt. David Lucas, installed Ill. Kt. John Ellis, PAGMar., Deputy Intendant Hertfordshire Division, as Eminent Viceroy.
Following the retirement of the consecrating team, the Beneficentia Conclave was opened, and officers of the ensuing year were elected, appointed and invested as such.
The Conclave offered honorary membership to all consecrating team, the Deputy Intendant-General, Ill Kt. David Lucas, and David Ashbolt in recognition for his continued charity work.
The consecration ceremony was attended by over 100 members of the Order, in the Grand Temple at MMH. It was a most enjoyable and memorable occasion, especially for those witnessing a consecration ceremony for the first time in the Order.
The day was concluded with a hearty festive board in true Red Cross fellowship by Knights that had drawn such a wonderful collaboration from far and wide.
